Headbands and costumes have been made thanks to our teachers and local families. Maaka, Norm and Michelle have been working hard to get us ready - teaching us the waiata, poi and haka that we are performing. We are going to have a dress rehearsal for the rest of the school on Monday and then perform for Ashley School before the Festival Performance the following week. We will have lots of fun - see you there!!!
16/8/17
Yesterday Millie and Lucy G went to Casebrook Intermediate to compete in the Root To Tip Challenge. They had to cook two savoury dishes over a two hour period using all the parts of their ingredients so as to have as little waste as possible. Course 1 - the girls made kumara raviolli with spinach pesto and vege crisps. Course 2 - was beetroot risotto with feta and garlic flatbread. Millie and Lucy came 2nd in the competition, missing out on the top spot by 1/2 a point! We are proud of their efforts.

8/24/17 Today we held our class speech competition.
