P is Perseverance and Proud!!

Wowsers!  How proud were the Manuka Superstars yesterday!  After weeks of training, it was finally Cross Country Race Day!  The weather forecast was a little dicey but the decision was made to go ahead and showcase our perseverance.  So amongst a few drops of rain, through some mud, and to the sounds of our friends and family cheering, we ran.  With puffing lungs and red faces we crossed the finish line and all that hard work paid off.  For some it was a time to bask in the glory of getting a place and for others it was the satisfaction of knowing they had given it their all.  All the Manuka students should be proud of a job well done.
