Welcome to 2018!!

Welcome to Manuka 2018!  We are a fabulous bunch of 19 Year 3 students who are excited to begin our learning journey in Manuka.  Some of us have returned from last year, and for some of us Manuka is all new.  Some things are the same: We are lucky enough to be joined by Rimu for Literacy Hour, the North Canterbury Sports Coaches will drop on in each fortnight for a session of fun, fun, fun, and our class motto remains 'Practice Makes Progress!!  Some things are different:  Mrs Webb has us busy building our reading stamina for one thing.  It ties in nicely with our practice makes progress motto.  Check out the photos below.  We are really enjoying our school pool, both at lunchtimes and during class time, in this hot, hot weather!  Nothing like a quick dip to cool off.  Our Junior Swimming Showcase is set for the 8th March.  Make sure you pop that on your diary now so you don't forget.
