REACH trip on Tuesday for Mrs Hughes and Mrs Hassall
We are away at the end of year REACH trip on Tuesday so Mr Hughes will be in Kauri and Mrs Connelly will be in Kahikatea.
Shared Christmas Lunch - Wednesday - the marbles made it into the jars!!
On Wednesday we are having a Christmas Craft day and we will also have our shared lunch on this day to celebrate the marbles in the jar. So if your child could please bring a plate of something to share for lunch on Wednesday that would be much appreciated. We will set up tables in the hall for the food so the children can bring it straight there on Wednesday. We will provide the drink. If everyone is able to provide something this will replace their lunch, however they will still need something for morning tea.
If you have a rolling pin that you are willing to allow us to borrow on Wednesday for our biscuit making that would be great! Please send it to school with your child. Thank you very much for your help with this.
Breast Cancer Foundation and Women’s Refuge Mufti Day - Thursday
This Thursday we are having a Christmas themed mufti day to support Marlene and Ellen Hawke who are going to shave their hair to raise money for the Breast Cancer Foundation and Women’s Refuge. We would like all the children to dress up and bring a gold coin to support Marlene and Ellen in their quest to raise money.
Mini Prizegiving - Thursday 2pm.
Mini Prizegiving will begin at 2pm on Thursday afternoon. This prize giving includes the awarding of summit challenge badges, agricultural badges and certificates, enviroleader certificates, jump jam certificates, and a few others. Please come along and join in the recognising of the children’s successes if you are able to. Look forward to seeing you there.
Summit Challenge Celebration Day - Friday
We are celebrating the achievement of our Summit Challenges with a celebration day at Ashley Gorge this Friday. Please check your emails today for a notice regarding the final details and ensure your child comes to school well prepared for an awesome day out!!
Reusable bags to take home stationery please
We would like the children to bring a reusable bag to school to take all their stationary and bits and pieces home in please. We would prefer to use these rather than plastic bags if we can. Thank you.
Secret Santa gifts.
The draw has been done and every child should know who they are buying for. The children can start bringing their Secret Santa gifts to school on Monday and place them in the box in their classroom. It would be great if we could have all the gifts at school by Friday morning as we have a few children going away next week. Thank you very much for allowing your child to be a part of this.
