It's been an action packed term.  Our theme has been based our health and we have been lucky enough to have a visit from the Life Education caravan and Ken Terry, our local police education officer, to support us with the Keeping Ourselves Safe programme. Cross country training and gym trips have kept us busy physically.  Our Kapa Haka skills are developing well as we prepare for the Christchurch festival next term. Our poi item is much more challenging this year and is certainly requiring us to spend much more time practising. Our Strictly Jump Jam team has been practisting all term and gained second place in the local competition. Novel studies have kept us occupied during Reading time and require us to  develop strong self management skills. During Maths we have been making great progress on our basic facts and incorporating art into our Geometry sessions.  The days have raced by and we are nearly at the end of the second term. Hard to believe.
