The annual Ashley Forest North Loburn School Fun Run was held on the weekend. Whilst the numbers were down on last year we still had a great day out. The weather threatened to be a challenge at first with persistent drizzle, however once out on the course it proved to be more pleasant than first thought.
An event such as this does not happen with out a great deal of organisation from many people. I would like to thank the work that was done by Anne Murphy and the many volunteers who helped out leading up to the event and on the day. It was run efficiently which is a direct result of the many hours of work that went into getting it ready. To all of those people who turned up and supported the event - we say thank you. It looks like our Home and School group will be able to donate around $5000 to the school which is certainly appreciated. We look forward to bring it to you again next year.
