8/2/2017 - This is the second week of a six week block course at the Technology Centre for us. Each student has chosen a project to complete in one of the four technology areas - Food, Fabric, Woodshop, Design. Some students are doing individual projects and others have chosen to do a project that will benefit the school. Jayden and Liam are making a lychgate, Alex and Louis are making a directional sign for the visitors to find their way around the school and Ranger is making some very large PRIDE banners for the school hall.

8/4/17 Kapa Haka Fun
North Loburn School is preparing to head off to the Kapa Haka festival, at the Horncastle Arena. Headbands and costumes have been made thanks to our teachers and local families. Maaka, Norm and Michelle have been working hard to get us ready - teaching us the waiata, poi and haka that we are performing. We are going to have a dress rehearsal for the rest of the school on Monday and then perform for Ashley School before the Festival Performance the following week. We will have lots of fun - see you there!!!
